Who is Israel? Israel is the forever family-nation of God.

Where was Israel born? The descendants of Jacob were born as exiles and slaves in Egypt.

How did Israel arrive in Egypt? God saved both Israel and Egypt from famine by Joseph’s faithful leadership.

Why did Egypt cease to be a blessing to Israel? Pharaoh believed he led such a great nation that he did not need God.

Who did God give as a leader for Israel after the days of Joseph? God called Moses to speak God’s word and lead God’s people away from Egypt to the land of promise.

How did God prepare Moses for leadership? God protected
