The members of First Baptist Church Senatobia are a diverse and unified group of believers who are attempting to encourage one another to grow in Christ-likeness. While we all come from different familial, social, and economic backgrounds, we are united by our love for the Lord Jesus and, even more so, by His love for us. The Great Commission has also had the effect of bringing us together under one call, one purpose, to “make disciples in all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” (Matt. 28:19)

dedicated bible study

Teaching Scripture, God’s revelation of Himself to all people, to all groups and its life application, is of primary importance to us. We meet Sunday mornings at 9:45-10:45 for Sunday School and provide classes for all ages. Sunday evenings begin with Discipleship Training at 4:00 pm. We offer a variety of class options each semester along with the addition of Life Groups which meet in church member homes. On Wednesday evenings we offer Prayer Meeting and Bible study from 6:00-7:00 in our Family Life Center with supper at 5:15 pm. We also offer other opportunities for fellowship and study during this time for all ages.

genuine worship

We believe the kind of worship God desires most is displayed in a believer’s everyday life through obedience. We believe that if people do not worship the Lord through the offering of daily obedience, they do not worship at all. Striving to walk faithfully with the Lord Jesus is our greatest act of worship (Romans 12:1-2). We also believe in meaningful corporate worship. We utilize drama, creative worship, musicals and a full choir to glorify the Lord. Through both hymns and choruses we show our Lord how much we love and honor Him.

Expect to be noticed. Expect people to say something like, “Hi, we haven’t met before, is this your first time?” Expect for people to reach out to you in love.

hot coffee

There’s nothing like the smell of good coffee to warm you up. Stop by the Welcome Center at 9:30am for fellowship and a good cup o’ Joe on your way to Sunday School!

The Bible tells us to speak the truth in love. The Bible is God’s truth. At FBC Senatobia we seek to explore, understand and apply God’s truth to our lives at every level in a spirit of love. You will find a growing variety of resources to help you grow in God’s truth.
