The Old Testament prophet Micah lived and served around the same time as Isaiah. Micah was called by the Lord to speak against the wealthy’s oppression of the poor and needy. As for many Old Testament prophets, Micah shared that the complete judgment of guilt would not be seen until the Day of the Lord. His message to the people also included that salvation was in the Lord. Micah 7:7 says, “But as for me, I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.”
